Since October 2025 the compulsory VAT registration threshold in Mauritius is Rs 3 million of taxable turnover. Many small businesses cross it without noticing, and the penalties fall on the business, not on the person who forgot. If you are close to the line, it is worth a five-minute conversation.

We are a business support service in Mauritius. We are not an accounting practice and we do not sign off accounts or audits ourselves. What we do is know the market, know which firms are good and fairly priced, and put the two of you together.
Most small business owners we meet have the same problem. They do not know who to call, they are afraid of what it will cost, and they have already been passed around three offices with no clear answer.
So we take the job off your desk. We explain what actually needs doing, agree a fixed price with the firm, and follow it through so nothing sits waiting for a signature for three weeks.
